Stray cats

I woke up this morning to see something encouraging and rather civilized. These two have warred with each other for over three years but there they were, perfectly and blissfully passed out, sleeping in the sun together...

This is usually the scene. Two bad cats claiming their turf.

March came in like a lion and left like a lamb...and sort of did the same thing with these two. Hope the effect sticks.

Maybe they just pretend to dislike each other when Beans (human beings) are watching:)

hilarous! I hope Stella doesn't pick up any bad habits from them...

I find the simplest things at your post. And I love them. Hey! Look at all the comments! Excellent.

I have a Senegal named Pacino who reminds me a lot of your Stella. Can't say they'd like each other enough to hang together on the sofa in the sun, but I'm sure they'd carry on quite a dialogue.

Those comments are interesting. Some of you think Stella might pick up some bad habits and some of you think she might be teaching bad habits to others. Ha ha ha. I think anything evil, Stella is a very attentive pupil and if she could find willing pupils, would be an excellent teacher. So I guess both groups are right when it comes to Stella. Ha ha ha.

Tristan and Crikey-oh, those cats hate each other. There is no performance there. I can hear their interactions, I don't have to always see them. I caught one really good attack where the smoking cat leaped on Eli and knocked him six feet off the deck. Those two are murderous when it comes to dealing with each other. That's why when I catch a scene like the two of them hanging out together so comfortably (and as Barb said, like mirror opposites, since the two ARE equal opponents), it is an event.
