This was done by my former boss's daughter Adrienne about 5 years ago (she was probably about the same age as the "parasol lady" artist when she drew this). Adrienne is a very thoughtful, smart, sweet, kind girl but when she draws, she has an entirely different personality. I admire how she avoided having to draw hands and feet with this particular character. Smart thinking, Adrienne! I also really like how this character is putting her weight on the left foot (making her left hip move up a little) and then putting the right foot slightly forward. That's a pretty sophisticated pose since just about everybody else would have made the length of the legs symmetric and even.
