Black cat with a scowl.
Well, not really.
It might be a "Howl-o-ween" for everyone else, but for Violet it's really just one big "Yawn-o-ween."
No matter, my odometer turned 666 on the highway and that was one suspenseful minute until I got that next mile driven. :-)

Between those cats and your odometer, I'd say you've got the holiday cornered;)
That was one scary minute with the odometer. I probably shouldn't have watched it turn to 667 while driving but I HAD to. Regarding that black cat, I just gave him lunch and he's giving me the same scowl face. :-/ Why do dogs ALWAYS smile and cats never do when you feed them, or do just about anything with them?
Maria, your Violet is a sweetie--and what a great pic of her mid-yawn! :)
Okay, cats don't smile very often but they do SING in gratitude. Your Violet looks like a sweet natured cat that kept us company for twenty years.
Leenie-Violet is a girl with many talents but singing is not one of them. She doesn't meow or sing, Violet "mips."
Swampgirl-I'm not sure Violet would think so....it kind of shows her missing teeth caused from her young and wild days when she was forever jumping on and off the neighbor's rooftops. Glad those wild days are over. She can be a sweet cat though. Not always. But she can be. :-)
Those faces are priceless. That second shot looks like your cat read the odometer. ;)
