O My Goodness, I love your blog and your animals! That parrot is a real character. How do you keep the cats from getting to the birds?

Violet the cat came after the birds so she was raised with them. Also, parrots are formidable creatures. Cats quickly learn they can get mutilated pretty easily if they even think to try to mess with parrots. I do keep an eye out when Stella is out of her cage but as you can see in the little clip, would you want to mess with that? Violet knows to keep her eyes closed if she needs to defend herself from the definition of evil, aka Stella. Stella goes after the cat, not the other way around. That's how it works at my house at least. :-)
