Daffodil, baby Rex's cat nanny

This is Daffodil.

Sarah says that if Daffodil lived with eight people, that still would not be enough people to give Daffodil the attention she craves.

Which probably explains why she puts up with a baby throwing little plastic balls in her direction.

But then, she's been his cat nanny since he was born.

And would probably tolerate just about anything.

I think I know what she's thinking...

Some cats just can't get no respect.

She looks just like my Daisy, more fluff than kitty in there, but she hid the middle age fat quite well in her fuzzy bloomers when she did grow tubby during that phase in her life. Daisy was a princess, she knew she was pretty...but a real tomboy in spite of the fluffy ruffles. She loved drinking milk from my glass, sucking on my sweaters, and kicking Halloween's ass when he was being bad (our black cat a.k.a. "Boo"). She parted with us three years ago at the ripe old age of 16, she was a standout personality in the family and we miss her.
