Puppies!

Here they come!

This is Tilly.

And this is her brother, Bo.

It's hard to get pictures of them (because they are constantly moving) but Tilly eventually settled down next to Bella.

And with the arrival of the other three grownups (Aussie, Mary and Elvis)...

Everyone got comfortable so they could watch and supervise while I tried to weed on this beautiful October day.

I thought gardening with turtles was impossible but gardening with six dogs????? Seriously, look at that scene. Gardening has just become a lot more challenging. What's next? Gardening with elephants? Gardening on a speedway? Well, none of those things can give you a look like this...

Puppy eyes allow them to get away with anything.

Their eyes don't even have to stay open.

In just six seconds...

Bo was fast asleep.

And when I tried to weed, Bo would get up and fall asleep again so he could be right under me everywhere I tried to work.

Aussie doesn't get it.

And Mary never will...

But I could watch a sleeping puppy forever.

Or until the sun goes down...which is what happened about an hour after I took this picture. :-)

Thank Heavens they showed up Maria! I don't think you could have ever finished up all that weeding without pupper help. Gracie came back and she has been getting a can of Fancy Feast every night and spends a couple of hours with us inside :)

Awwwww...what great "helpers." I love the fake eye spots on your gardening assistant. It reminds me of those open-eye glasses meant to be used so you could sleep in a boring class. "Yes, I'm paying attention! Uh...what was the question?"

Dogs are such excellent helpers...they help us learn about the importance of naps in sunny places!

Eve-It is fun but in the past when I was trying to get things accomplished out on that land, it was always one step forward, two steps back. Now it's more like one step forward, 14 steps back!!!

Pix-Gracie came back???? GRACIE CAME BACK????? Oh that is such great news. And that "pupper" help is something else. They did a good job of getting those daylilies flattened so I could see what else was growing on that hill.

Leenie-Ha ha ha. Aren't those spots the weirdest? They are so huge. They remind me of those caterpillars with markings that look like big eyes to scare off predators. Maybe Bo will eventually grow into them. His little tan bare butt is pretty funny too.

Laura-Exactly. :-) Oh to be able to take a nap in the sun again...it's currently fifteen dreary degrees outside. :-(

Kate-Puppies are so darn cute. Oh... one of these days, I'll have one of my own...if the current Mueller clan does not move in when I do.

Mental-How many cyber dogs live with you now???? >:-)
