Stella (the bird) art

And then there is this one...

Hanging in a hallway and not in a place where I think to look every day.

Because, as everyone knows by now, Stella is bad. BAD. A hallway is a perfect place to hang her portrait because when you see it, you don't linger, you get through that hallway as fast as possible. Make your decision. Turn right. Turn left. Just do it NOW before you hit the wall.

Stella was just a couple years old when I painted her portrait but even then, I knew she had the personality of a contra fighter.

There is absolutely no reason to be so attached to such an "infestation of evil," but there you go.

I love the personality in that little painted face! But if that is you in the photo. . . I have to say. . .I'm not sure which of you looks the more mischievious! :)

Shara-Yep. I took that picture last night. It is so damn cold!!!!! I have not taken that shawl off yet!!!! It just seemed like the right thing to do to tuck Stella in there too.

I've posted my picture on the blog before but it's got to be a shock to connect the image with the voice the first time. How off were you, Shara? Ha ha ha

45-I am not able to smile when my picture is taken. Something always happens, at least my eyes are looking forward. Back me up here Snakey. have you ever known me to take a normal looking picture?
