Last days of winter...

And the first day of spring...

Seriously. Snow. A lot of it.....and it's still coming down.

Hehe! Looking at all my friends in the middle of the country dealing with snow. Even Pioneer Woman is whining.

I put in a note about your lovely Violet in her kittybeds a few days ago.

I know it's not like the snow you get but really, on the first day of spring to get this much snow?!!??!!???? A couple days ago the weatherguy was jumping up and down about how it might snow 20 inches but I think it's just going to be about 8 inches at most. Still, it's spring. Yeah, I know that's called whining. Is PW in Oklahoma? It's supposed to be pretty interesting there too.

Oh......Leenie. I saw your note. :-)

It's been beautiful here in New York, over 70 today, better we get your snow next week.

Maureen. Over 70? Gawd. Hard to imagine. The snow is still coming down sideways and will probably keep doing that 'til tomorrow. However, it will be in the 50s and 60s starting Monday so it won't last long. It is really incredible though. And btw, I think we're keeping all the snow. I don't think there will be any left to send to you. :-)

I really hate when too much snow falls in my area. It is about time spring came around so I can start preparing my gardens. I hope all is well with you. Don't worry, the snow will soon pass.

Oh the irony. It can't be too long now. Nice that you had such a taste of spring.

I love those violet flowers! Good thing here in Asia we don't need to worry about snow, but too much heat ruins my gardening. :(

I was worried the crocus would be flattened by the snow but they popped right back up! Hope yours did too. The peurple crocus are like Easter eggs.
My husband and I flew kites today...perfect way to spend a March afternoon.
