When puppies do something really, really bad, they're still pretty darn cute so you have to forgive them. But when it comes to Stella...

Badness and forgiveness.
Years ago when Wendie's Hammy was a little puppy, Hammy got a nice new bed. Hammy (unknown to Wendie at the time) completely shredded the new bed and then was so tired he had to go take a nap on his..........old bed.

Stella, I think you may be in real trouble this time. Your mom seems to be hanging on to the feelings she experienced upon finding your bad deed.
Perhaps you could begin digging yourself out of the hole by being very quiet and compliant for the next few days. Don't talk too much, you might dig yourself into a deeper hole.
I don't think she has a spirit of forgivenrss right now.
I know that look, Pacino gives it to me on a regular basis.
I am still a little scared of Stella. Just sayin'.
Hmmm. Stella it isn't lookin' too good. You may have taken your baaaaddd toooooo far.
LInda-ha ha ha. Very wise words. We've been watching the Olympics together and although Stella has been busy shredding cardboard tubes (but with not much gusto), I know her heart yearns for that lovely piece of furniture from Japan with the extra soft wood that shreds like butter.
Maureen, oh yes, that look. That "Hey! You know what sounds like fun today? Let's go rob a bank!" I wonder how many grand plans of badness and destruction go through their heads every day....uh, no I don't.
Mental-Yeah. I'm there with you. Birds with chainsaws, how can you feel safe with something like that?
Pix-Yes, I'm wondering what the next big bad Wikipedia worthy event will be with that bird. Oh well, turtle season is coming up and my focus will be on the destruction going on outdoors, not inside. I'm strangely looking forward to that.
I don't see much remorse in those eyes. You're right it's most cetainly a look of baaaad.
Yeah, yeah, rob a bank, good idea!
