Stella made her request to Santa...

And just to be sure Santa would know how really bad she was this year, Stella took a big bite out of the linen closet shelf yesterday. Baaaaaad. I'm sure she'll get just what she's worked so hard for... lots and lots of sticks to shred and chew.

Hi Maria. Why doesn't Santa get creative this year for Stella and bring bamboo knitting needles? The white cat that owns me, loves to chew on bamboo knitting needles. It doesn't matter anymore, as knitting needles are useless when your arm won't let you knit. Is Stella's middle name Mabel, like your maternal grandmother Stella Mabel? Just wondering. I could send some bamboo along with Santa when he stops here, but Casper probably wouldn't allow it. Touche. Merry Christmas, Stella the Bird.

Ah, but she is so cute. Pacino has taken up shrieking every time the heat comes on, which, I must say, makes me, and no doubt my neighbors, want to strangle him since it's just a quiet little hissing sound. Not bothered by the trampling toddlers upstairs or a multitude of sirens and car alarms, but heat? OH NO!!!

I sort of like the idea Ellyn has with the bamboo knitting needles. Santa needs to address this issue.

Oh Stella Fullahella I am fond of your bad self because it was you sitting on Maria's head that got me rambling here to this blog. And I really enjoy rambling here. So Merry Christmas Stella and a Very Merry Christmas to you Maria!

Merry Christmas to you and the menagerie, don't let Stella get drunk shredding the champagne cork!

Aunt Ellyn-Stella did not get any of my bamboo knitting needles for Christmas. Violet has already claimed those...something about those pointy tips needing to be roughened up a little with those little kitty incisors. Stella did get lots of sticks and corks and a roll of paper towels so she had a pretty good day. She has plenty of toys that have been purchased for her in the past but she has always preferred to play with other's things.

You do know that Stella was named after your mom. I forgot Granny had Mabel as her middle name.I guess another of Stella's Christmas presents is a middle name. :-) Stella Mabel Fullahella and Able.

Maureen-The sound of heat? And it's not even loud? I know the vacuum cleaner inspires some operatic belting of tunes in this house but that's because it's loud and the birds have to match the noise level. And now that it's cold, Pacino must be doing it all day and night. I think you need some holiday background music to drown out the radiators. Some Ramones perhaps? >:-)

Kate-the issue has been addressed (Stella's working on an apple right now, I don't think a bamboo knitting needle would be as much fun and I'm sticking with that thought).

Mental-but she IS. Fulla...hella.

Rural- Ramble is such a good word. "Rambler" would be a good middle name too. I'm glad you found my blog too. I'm assuming eastern Missouri is all covered in snow from the Christmas blizzard. I'm still snowed in and loving it! :-)

Leenie-Back at ya.

Maureen (again...ha ha ha)-For some reason, white wine or champagne is not interesting to Stella. However, if it's red, she will do whatever necessary to grab the wineglass and fling it...even if it's empty. One of these days I should make a list of just how many bad qualities that bird has...I know there will be pages and pages of them. Hope you had a great and a "silent night" on Christmas.

Hilary-HA HA HA HA HA! Good one. Hope you had a merry Christmas too. :-)
